Garage Sale Success!
Thank you Ottawa for coming out to our 2nd annual Garage Sale for Shelter. Together we raised over $3000 of which half goes to the Shelter Foundation in Toronto and gets used on Violence Prevention programs, and other shelters across Canada that have emergency needs. Half of the funds raise stays right here in Ottawa and goes to help out Nelson House Women's Shelter of Ottawa-Carleton.
There are approx 30,000 women and children in shelters across Canada due to abuse and violence.
